Olivia is a seasoned researcher (cultural anthropologist? truth seeker? how about all of the above?) based in Austin, TX. She is dedicated to helping organizations uncover the why behind their users’ behavior, and translate those insights into strategic action. With a background in psychology and behavioral pattern analysis from Wellesley College, she is an expert in designing bespoke research programs, ranging from exploratory deep dives to tactical validation studies, that directly inform decision-making and drive real growth. Her working style lives at the crux between art and science, and she considers every question a new opportunity to uncover something meaningful about the human condition.
As the founder of In Field, Olivia partners with brands to figure out who their product resonates with, what the need that’s not being met in the market, and ultimately how to retain them as customers. Whether enabling founders navigating uncertainty or teams scaling research functions, she approaches every engagement with curiosity, clarity, and a relentless focus on tangible outcomes.
Alongside her research work, Olivia is a devoted animal rescue volunteer and foster to animals in need across Texas. She is dedicated to creating community across animal rescue networks to encourage fostering as a core path to success in ending preventable euthanasia in animal shelters across the U.S.
